Construction

Casper mattress is an all foam mattress made with varying foam density. The mattress is 10 thick mattress which is made up of 4 layers of excellent foams and a two-toned polyester. Detailed review of the layers below;

Cover - Is made with a durable high quality two-toned polyester fabric that runs from edge to edge. It has a nice texture which is stretchy and thick.
1st Layer - This layer is made with open-cell proprietary comfort foam which is bouncy and helps to keep the mattress cool. It is 1.5 inches thick and it has a high breathability which helps to keep the mattress cool.
2nd Layer - This layer features a high-density memory foam that is very responsive and which helps in pressure relief. It is 1.5 inches in thickness and it helps to transfer heat from the top layer to the lower layer keeping the mattress cool.
3rd Layer - This layer is the one responsible for keeping your spine aligned. It is a 1.5 inches thick layer made with foam that is firmer at the center and softer as you approach the shoulders. The reason behind this is that there is more weight concentrated around the hips than around the shoulder. Having a firmer foam at the center will prevent someone from sinking and hence leaving your spine aligned.
4th Layer - This layer is the foundation of the mattress. It is 5 inches thick and is made up of dense foam which offers support and is behind the durability of the mattress.

When it comes to firmness, Casper mattress is a medium level firm. On a scale of 1 -10, 1 being the softest and 10 being the firmest, Casper is at 6. You will sink less if you are of average weight. Motion Transfer, Sinkage, and Edge Support

Casper mattress is an all foam mattress and memory foam has been known to curb motion transfer. Casper absorbs the movevement your partner will not be disturbed if you toss and turn.
