LEESA MATTRESS REVIEW
Full Leesa Mattress Review
When it comes to bed-in-a-box mattresses, Leesa is a big name in the business. In fact, Leesa pioneered this business and has been monumental in is growth and innovation.
In this review, we are looking at Leesa’s memory foam mattress that has been expertly designed to give comfort for majority of sleepers and has a good appeal.
Made with 3 layers of high-quality foam, Leesa mattress boasts of being the most supportive and comfortable in the market today. Its support and comfort are made possible by its 3 layers working in unison. This mattress is well ventilated or has good breathability therefore heat is sucked out of your body and dissipated. You will not sleep hot. When it comes to price, the mattress is priced well you won’t break your pockets.
This mattress is elegant and is made with 3 layers of exceptional quality foam that totals 10 inches. These foams allow the mattress to offer a balanced feel of pressure relief and support.
Let's look into details the reasons that make Leesa stand out;

Support
Leesa is soft and bouncy due to its top layer of foam. The mattress has a medium level firmness and on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the softest and 10 being the firmest, we give it a 6. Being in somewhat the middle makes the mattress suitable to vast majority of sleepers.
Leesa’s top layer made with Avena® provides all the bounce and also spinal alignment. It has a balance foam feel. It relieves pressure from pressure points well and is soft. Having a balance foam feel helps you get around the mattress without feeling stuck.
Even though Leesa mattress is ideal to the vast majority of sleepers, people who are lightweight might experience a firmer mattress. The top layer is slow to respond hence rendering the mattress a firmer feel for lightweight individuals.
Construction
This mattress is very comfortable and is made with high-quality materials but it is a little firmer.It is constructed with 3 types of layers. It features a 2-inch Avena® top foam the comfort layer. The middle layer is a 2-inch memory foam layer and the bottom or foundation layer is 6 inches thick. The cover is made with polyester-lycra blend fabric. The combination of the foam layers creates a mattress with a medium-firm feel suitable for vast majority of sleepers.
Let’s look at each individual layer construction;
Cover
ILeesa’s stylish cover is available in 2 designs and is made with polyester-lycra blend fabric. The 2 fabulous covers are Classic Leesa and Leesa ArtLifting Limited Edition. The latter features unique cover specially designed by ArtLifting artist Scott Benner. Both designs are soft, built with a seamless edge that make the designs outstanding.
The cover is breathable and allows good airflow into the mattress enabling temperature regulation.

Top Layer
The top layer or the comfort layer is made with a 2-inch Avena foam. It is a foam that acts like latex therefore it has a quick response to pressure. This layer also gives the mattress a little bounce therefore you will not sink in the mattress. This layer has pincore holes on the top and convoluted (egg crate) design on the underside for temperature regulation. Combination of the holes and the egg crate design helps to keep the sleeper cool throughout the night.
Memory Foam Layer
The middle layer is a 2-inch memory foam that provides pressure relief and contouring and it responds slowly unlike the top layer that as a quick response. It efficiently allows for heat to flow keeping the mattress cool. It does not retain any heat.
Base Layer
The base is constructed with a 6-inch high density poly foam and it acts like a foundation of the mattress. It supports the above 2 layers giving it its shape.
Motion Transfer
The Aveno foam in conjunction with the memory foam underneath works perfectly to curb or minimize any motion transfer. Your partner will not be disturbed if you are the kind of a person that tosses and turns. It isolates movement perfectly for average weight sleepers.
Foundation
Just like many mattresses of its kind, Leesa mattress can be placed on any foundation. It is perfectly made you can even put it on the floor and you still enjoy its comfort. It can be placed on a flat frame, box spring, or any other flat surface and the comfort you get is the same.
